DUTB - Soundcloud Roundup - March (Volume 3!)

I got a number of hot submissions on the soundcloud group this month. Happy to see a ton of Moombahton as always, but with even more accessible tunes and deeper grooves. I also love dubstep/alternative rock/house music guys so keep them all coming.

Congrats to everyone who submitted music and if I didn't choose your track this time, just keep sending stuff over. I promise to listen to everything that gets submitted and give you my honest feedback.

The submit box for DUTB is on the left hand side over here. <--------- The first track is a HUGE one which features the Al Green sample - Love and Happiness FukStikJohnson is a super talented producer who I'm always pumped to hear new work from.




Next up is a big room moombahton track from suits on fire with a driving lead and catchy vocal samples. The real flair happens towards the back half when the spanish traditional guitars come in! Great use of compression and release!



On Scold recordings, this tune from Disgraceland is an example of the chill side of moombahton. Again it's complex and well structured, but really stands out because of the detail in the drumline, and the chill vibe in the vamping.



DUTB - Soundcloud roundup wouldn't be complete without a track from one of our regular contributors, moombahton heavyweight Neki Stranac. This time it's for a refix of the Steve Aoki remix of Bassnectar's "Red Step" (try saying that ten times fast). Neki's tracks get featured on here because of their mastery of auditory space, great sounding drums/synths, and consistent club-ready production.



To round the group out, another regular feature, LongArms, is back with an exciting preview from the upcoming "Laundry" EP - "Epiphany." Aptly titled, the track is huge, with sweeping dirty synths, complex melodic lines, and more instruments than you will be able to count.
