July 4 - Hot Mom USA vs Trouble and Bass

Fourth of July - Independence Day - Hot Dogs, Fireworks, Guns, and BASS.

This year in NYC there was no shortage of the last of these mainstays at the Public Assembly Loft in Williamsburg.

A few of my favorite surprises:

 1) the insane stage presence of Doctor Jeep - who has a ridiculously dope soundcloud. This dude is definitely on the comeup in NYC with big bass and drums, unique sounding synths, his own style etc.

2) Cakes da Killa nutty performance, lying on the floor, dancing into the crowd, mic control, overall fresh.

 3) Shiftee set - his maschine integration with cuepoints for traktor is legendary and his cuts are always on point.

Check some of my favorite pics here and go peep ALL THE REST on DUTB facebook (and give a like for exclusive first looks at all of the pics from the events I photograph!)
