I really like to dj.

When I realized I was going to be playing for 4 hours instead of 2 I got thrilled in a deeply beautiful way. In a way only rocking a tent with a thousand screaming students and pro sound for four hours can make me feel.

I was totally honored not only by the PDM staff who were extremely helpful, grateful, and professional, but the students themselves. (Major shoutout to Longarms, Summer and John as well as two of my fav's Kelly and Melanie for always being amazing. I also was very grateful for great sound (thanks to Tom from PPC!)

Honestly thank you to everyone who came out and danced. Am I the only one who is happy the angry 90s are over? I feel like this last decade has been really great for the behavior of crowds. People are still riled up I guess, but in a more demure fashion. Sure there's a fishy attitude which comes along with this mellowness but I'm perfectly happy putting up with an uppity hipster instead of getting shot!
