Subtropix - Featuring Snake Soundsystem, Riobamba of Pajaritos, and B-Tips

I love performing.
Moving to Boston brought new challenges and also new opportunities to perform for new audiences. 

A lot of people ask me how to get gigs and the best advice I ever got was from RX in Brooklyn:
Go to the parties you enjoy, hang out - shake hands - show your face.  If you are good people love is love.  It also doesn't hurt to have a couple shows you can invite people to - they'll be more likely to bring you out.



Last night was definitely one to remember - In my short 15 months here in the Beaner I've been blessed to be surrounded by some of the best friends I've ever known.  Seriously felt the love with all my people in the room!

Also was amazing getting to rock with Riobamba of Pajaritos - she laid down a legit Dancehall set that would have worked on a Tuesday night at Phoenix in front of a crowd of seasoned Reggae veterans.  Seriously impressive stuff.  Check out the Pajaritos website:

Of course the Snake Soundsystem came correct also.  So rare to see two people so in sync - with music and even their personalities.  Brothers indeed. Ardie released a Future Cumbia track called "up and down" that had me sweating at 1am.  Make sure to peep the event next month (first Thursdays) for Ted Thousands last show to wish him well in San Fransisco!
