PICS - Memorial Day Weekend Pitt Stop - Nugget and Strobe - SBar and Static

It's always a treat coming back home to Pittsburgh.

Whenever I'm back in town I like to check in with my DJ friends - the people I came up with!

Nugget is just one of the best DJ's I know, someone who I learn something from every time I watch him spin.  He is the type of dude that could crush bottle service in Miami and fly to a roller rink full of hipsters in Brooklyn and kill them with underground anthems all night. 

Later on I stopped by Static in the Strip District to check out Strobe's set.  This club is really an incredible thing for Pittsburgh to have. It's all EDM so there's no question about what you're getting into - a party.  Strobe has the ability to give you the hits you want to hear but to play them in an unconventional way that doesn't feel stale.  Also this club has a phenomenal sound system.  Seriously sounds great even when it's packed full of absorbent bodies.
